Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition

 

Xcel Energy Inc. management will meet with investors at the EEI Conference in Scottsdale, AZ on Nov. 9-12, 2008.

 

Management plans to update investors on Xcel Energy’s operations and reiterate 2008 earnings guidance of at the low-end of $1.45 to $1.50 per diluted share.

 

Management plans to announce 2009 earnings guidance of $1.45 to $1.55 per diluted share.

 

Management will also provide an updated capital forecast.  The forecast reflects the following annual amounts:

 

2009

 

$1.80 billion

 

 

 

2010

 

$2.30 billion

 

 

 

2011

 

$2.35 billion

 

 

 

2012

 

$2.35 billion
