On
December 10, 2009, Kurt E. Suter notified the Corporation of his decision to
resign from the Board of Directors of Franklin Financial Services Corporation
and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Farmers and Merchants Trust Company of
Chambersburg effective on January 31, 2010. The resignation of Mr. Suter does
not involve any disagreement with the Corporation.
