Smith & Nephew Sports Medicine Capital Markets Event

Smith & Nephew (LSE: SN, NYSE: SNN), the global medical technology business, is today hosting a Capital Markets Event focused on its Sports Medicine business. This follows the successful acquisition of ArthroCare Corporation by Smith & Nephew in May 2014.
 
The event will be hosted by Olivier Bohuon, Chief Executive Officer. Senior leaders from the Company's Sports Medicine business will present on Smith & Nephew's growth strategy, including the ArthroCare integration.
 
In addition, there will be a presentation titled "The Importance of Innovation in Sports Medicine" from Mr Steve Drew, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, one of the upper limb surgeons to the British Gymnastics Team and British Orthopaedic Association, and Lead Clinician for shoulder and elbow research at Warwick University.
 
The presentations will be webcast live on the Smith & Nephew website (http://www.smith-nephew.com/investor-centre/sports-medicine-seminar-2014/) from 2.00pm GMT (9.00am EST) and archived after the event.
