On September 14, 2010, Richard Saltzman, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Colony Financial, Inc. (the “Company”), will be presenting at the Rodman & Renshaw Annual Global Investment Conference. Mr. Saltzman’s presentation will take place at 5:45 a.m. PT / 8:45 a.m. ET on September 14, 2010, at the New York Palace Hotel, New York. The presentation will be webcast live on the Internet in the Investor Relations section of the Company’s Web site at www.colonyfinancial.com. The webcast will also be archived and available on the Web site for 90 days.
A copy of the presentation materials to be used by Mr. Saltzman are attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and are incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure. These materials will also be available on the Investor Relations section of the Company’s website.
