METHANEX CORPORATION TO PRESENT AT THE SCOTIA CAPITAL MATERIALS CONFERENCE

May 26, 2005

Methanex Corporation will be presenting at the upcoming Scotia Capital Materials Conference being held June 1st & 2nd, 2005 in Toronto, ON. Mr. Ian Cameron, Methanex’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will speak to investors on June 2nd at approximately 1:10 p.m. Eastern Time.
