Disclosure.
On
October 9, 2008, Validus Holdings, Ltd. (“Validus”) released information
reconfirming the absence of equities and alternative investments in its
investment portfolio. Validus is providing this disclosure in
response to the continued volatility in the financial markets and due to
erroneous information contained in a published research report which has since
been corrected. A copy of this release is attached to this Current
Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by
reference.
