UBS celebrates 11th year as Presenting Sponsor of Art San Diego

UBS, the world’s leading global wealth manager, will serve as the presenting sponsor for Art San Diego 2022, continuing its support for cultural endeavors around the world and for using contemporary art to bring together ideas, inspiration, and opinions. Art San Diego returns to the San Diego Convention Center on September 9 for a three-day art exhibition after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Art San Diego, produced by Redwood Art Group, is the premier contemporary fine art fair in Southern California, known for its immersive fine art experience and dynamic programming including Art Labs, the Local Talent Program, the Spotlight Program, Access to Art and the San Diego Art Prize. More than 90 national and international galleries as well as independent artists will showcase hundreds of extraordinary works from around the world, including live artwork demonstrations.

Access to Art Philanthropic Program

Through the Access to Art program, UBS and Art San Diego partner to help select charities and the communities they serve by creating educational and marketing opportunities in art, design, and business development. UBS and the Redwood Art Group launched Access to Art in 2018 to bring together communities through art and art awareness. This year’s focus is on children’s education, development, and protection. Art San Diego’s 2022 Access to Art partners are Monarch School, Humble Design, and ArtReach.

Art San Diego Gallery Pavilion and the [SOLO] Pavilion

The Art San Diego Gallery Pavilion features well-established galleries, publishers and artist collectives, and draws thousands of art industry insiders in search of cutting-edge contemporary art and design from galleries worldwide.

The [SOLO] Pavilion is the ultimate venue for independent artists, fine art photographers, functional object artists, and designers to be discovered—not only by gallery owners and art dealers, but by collectors and enthusiasts in search of exciting new works.

[LOCAL TALENT] Program

Returning this year is Art San Diego’s acclaimed [LOCAL TALENT] program, which showcases the area’s exceptional artistic talent. Funded by Art San Diego and UBS, in partnership with the ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station and the NTC Foundation, [LOCAL TALENT] gives two or more artists, who have demonstrated exceptional talent and are engaged in art as a career, an opportunity to exhibit at Art San Diego. This year’s group features talented artists Leah Schaperow (ceramic artist) and Lisa E. (painter).
