Jerome Karam Announces Plan to Redevelop Gulf Greyhound Park

Houston, Texas, United States - 11-21-2022 (PR Distribution™) -

JMK5 Holdings, a redevelopment company headlined by Jerome Karam, recently announced the official plans for the Gulf Greyhound Park redevelopment project. The community is anticipating when everything is done and ready for people to enjoy in the area. The name for the planned concert and restaurant venue is yet to be decided.

The beloved Gulf Greyhound Park officially closed its doors in 2002. It was a staple for race enthusiasts and gamblers for nearly 30 years. With a significant entertainment venue out of the picture in La Marque, Texas, JMK5 Holdings stepped in with a vision for it moving forward.

Specifically, Jerome Karam believed it could turn into a concert and event arena serving La Marque and surrounding Texas. Thanks in part to having success in other nearby areas with redevelopment, this will be one of Jerome's most significant projects yet.

JMK5 Holdings are still releasing details as the project comes together. Despite that, the arena is already getting quite a bit of recognition for what's starting to come together. The Houston Chronicle recently mentioned it as one of the 20 game-changing developments in Houston.

While it won’t be able to host the most significant events in the area, La Marque will be in the running for secondary events looking for a slightly smaller and more intimate venue.

This area does not currently have an arena close to the size to hold in-demand concerts and events. Bringing in well-known entertainment options will only benefit the area and have people flocking to the area once again.

Gulf Greyhound Park brought in a different type of crowd focused more on racing and gambling. Jerome Karam wants all types of people to enjoy this new concert venue. It could have the type of impact that catches the attention of other developers as they build up around the arena.

Future announcements will allow people to better understand the arena's goals and entertainment options.

JMK5 Holdings is redeveloping the property to look like an entirely different venue. With 88 acres of property to work on, the process is time-consuming and requires patience.

Finally, Jerome Karam is looking for a bid on naming rights for the arena. Having a company name attached to the newest venue in the area is an excellent opportunity to grow positively.

A lot of businesses have found success buying the naming rights for arenas. When every act comes to town, the community refers to it by the sponsor's name. That type of advertising is tough to quantify when an arena is so new.

For more information, the JMK5Holdings website for updates directly from Jerome Karam Houston's team. There will also be an official website for the new concert venue and social media channels.

All of that information will get announced at a later time. Promotion is a huge part of a new venue, so it will be easy to find any information in advance online to keep fans locked in.
