Undead Labs / State of Decay sound designer Kevin Patzelt releases "Threshold"
SEATTLE - Aug. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Undead Lab's State of Decay series of first-person zombie shooters audio director and composer Kevin Patzelt has released Threshold, a surprise EP under his post-apocalyptic, post-rock, post-industrial alias Dreissk. This extra special three-song EP deservedly amasses so many "post" badges because is filled to the brim with Kevin Patzelt's now signature dystopian soundscapes, tribal rhythms, and swelling, ominous synths.

Dreissk tracks often eschew more common song structures in favor of pure unbridled sonically rich emotional weight.  Much like his previous album To Nowhere, also released on the Oakland California based n5MD label, Threshold is not all doom, gloom, and sturm und drang. Patzelt adds in an even more prominent undercurrent of hope that acts as a counterpoint to the EPs cavernous weight than its predecessor alluded to.

Threshold is out now and available for purchase or streaming at your favorite digital retailer, streaming service or, as always, direct from n5MD.
