IdeaFEST 2020 Virtual Event to Fill Gap for Cancelled Technology Conferences

Virtual Conference will feature best speakers from conferences impacted by Covid-19

Waterford, MI – Broadsword, a leading Process Innovation firm, has partnered with Process Improvement leader NaturalSPI to sponsor and present a virtual e-conference for members of the innovation, performance improvement, CMMI, Agile, ISO, and CMMC communities.

IdeaFEST 2020, an all-virtual e-conference, will take place April 21 and 22 starting at 8:45 AM Eastern, and will feature the top speakers from technology conferences that have been canceled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. These speakers are leaders in their respective fields who have been selected by leading conferences as featured presenters. Each speaker will share “one big idea” with conference attendees.

The e-conference will open with a keynote address by Ty Schieber, Chairman of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Board (CMMC-AB). Mr. Scheiber will share information about how the CMMC will impact more than 300,000 DOD and federal government contractors.

On day 2, author Jim Bouchard (the “Sensei Leader”), will “inspire, empower, and guide” attendees with his ideas on self-organization, engagement, and team empowerment.

More than fifteen additional speakers will share ideas on performance innovation, Agile leadership, large-scale Agile, CMMI, ISO, and high performance in the technology, engineering, and defense industries.

IdeaFEST 2020 is designed to promote the sharing of new ideas, and each speaker will present one big idea that will bring immediate value to attendees. The entire conference will be conducted using video technology.

The e-conference is co-chaired by authors and innovation leaders Michael West (Return on Process) and Jeff Dalton (Great Big Agile: an OS for Agile Leaders), who will facilitate the sessions and hold a “virtual happy hour” at the end of each day for Q&A and open discussion.
