Just the feeling and sumptuous salaries that accompany big job posts are enough to make any job seeker’s heart tingle. Having a good-paying job is one of the steps that you take towards achieving financial security and raising your living standards. However, it is the obstacles and the turbulence that you have to overcome that determine the position you will be in. In the end, you are either going to be among the working class or be among the statistics that record the unemployed.

HOW YOUR RESUME IMPACTS THE JOB YOU ARE TARGETING

Being in steady employment is one of the positions that everyone yearns to be in and you will be surprised by the extent to which people are willing to go to secure such jobs. As we all know, bug job careers require you to have a more than impressive resume that makes you stand out for this job position. Such amazing managerial jobs require prospective applicants to have an intensive educational background and more than enough experience. This job position usually comes with a lot of privileges and benefits not to mention the hefty salary you are going to be receiving. Such lucrative job positions are held by people who have been entrusted by either that below them or above to manage both their affairs and the affairs of the organization so anyone can understand why they require such immaculate expertise for such job positions.

CURRENT UNEMPLOYMENT STATUS

The job market is always full of competition with many new prospective clients joining the market every day. Close to 17 million individuals alone on the U S. were recorded as being unemployed within just a period of three weeks. Such times have not spared anyone with high-income countries also feeling the pinch o this economic breakdown. The unemployment rate in the world has already grown by more than 15 percent shrinking the previous percentage of the population that was employed before this calamity hit. However, the unstructured proportion of the spread of this disease has led to imbalances in job losses where you find some areas being hit hardest, close to double, and even triple when compared to less affected areas. Most of the jobs, that were deemed to be ‘dirty’ such as cleaning streets and unblocking drains are being done by individuals who have high levels of education so as to be able to fend for themselves and their families. , as long as they bring some money to buy food.

Now you can imagine how competitive the job market always is and then out of nowhere, calamities hit us hard making many companies and organizations make many changes so as to be able to maximize the profits they gain from a now reduced operation cost. This mostly entails laying off most of the workers considered as non-essential’ so as to cut back on the expenditure the organization incurs in paying such workers. If you are a worker who falls in this criterion then you know that the progression and security of your career hang in the balance and it is not long before the company lays you off. But no sane person wants to lose their job, not after the struggles and sacrifices they had to make so as to be able to land these jobs.

When companies think of laying off workers, they keep in mind that more qualified employees or new applicants can be brought in to cover the gaps that have been created as a result of the laying off process. This now brings in the aspect that it is now time for survival for the fittest. Only those who meet the cut will be considered. Then this brings into play that desperate times call for desperate measures. You must be willing to go the extra mile so as to fit in this new job description.as if new competitors joining the market every day wasn’t enough, calamities join in on the mix making the unemployment rate increase every day. This forces employees’’ or new applicants’ hands to make tough calls.

The word possible is interpreted by many differently and at various levels. Some settle for the rules while others go a little further to smoothen the conditions for them to secure decent jobs. You need to spice up your resume so as to convince your employers that you are the right person for the job. Unlike gambling and politics where you apply unscrupulous ways to become reach, in employment you just have to put in the work and thus you need to be very skeptical on how you frame your resume as you may be called up to task upon which failure to perform it will lead to a demotion and even disqualification.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO LIE IN YOUR RESUME?

Yes, it is possible. In fact there are services out there like one I found called “Your Fake Reference” which will sell you references that meet all aspects of a reference check. So you can lie, the employer confirms your lie with them, and there you are in your new job. They have businesses setup, websites, phone numbers to call, work email addresses, and real people willing to lie… for a price.

Uncertain times, just like the name suggests, bears unpredictable future patterns. You need to be very flexible in terms of employment so as to be deemed fit for employment by most organizations and firms. The requirements keep rising higher and people are choosing to lie to meet them.

WHY DO PEOPLE LIE ON THEIR RESUMES?

· It presents you as the most appropriate employee for that job position. We live in an era where many new prospective employees join the market with more advanced and attractive degrees that make your accomplishments seem like a joke. If you do not keep up with this current trend then chances of being thrown to the curb grow every single day. You then need to tweak your resume to satisfy the new job requirements to make you be the right man for the job.

· It offers you more advantages over other employees. Tweaking your resume to suit the new job descriptions presents you with higher chances of being selected over other employees or prospective applicants as the firm views you as the missing piece in their company.

· It reduces the chances of you falling out of favor with your employers. Such times like the one we are facing today are usually unpredictable. Huge companies are the ones who are always affected the most especially when the profits they get are usually lower than their operation costs. This forces them to lay off non-essential workers so as to be able to cope with these harsh economic times.

· Employees with more experience are usually considered crucial to companies and therefore, are usually preserved. If your current resume doesn’t fit new job descriptions then you feel your chances of remaining in the company grow thin every day. Therefore, you need to tune your resume to keep up with the new job descriptions to reduce the chances of being laid off.

· It increases your chances of landing a promotion. Many changes in organizations usually mean that some individuals move up the ladder while some are demoted with others being disqualified. Your resume must always be up to standard to ensure that you satisfy the required criterion. Only employees with exceptional educational achievements or job experiences get a chance of being promoted hence when you carefully craft your resume, you may just be among the elite to qualify for a promotion.

· It provides you with new opportunities. When your resume is appealing to new employers from better firms than the one you currently are in, they may consider employing you in a better position. This means better working conditions and better pay. In today’s economy, securing a better-paying job is close to impossible as unemployment continues to skyrocket every single day. Therefore when you carefully craft your resume meeting such standards; you increase your chances of landing a better paying job.

· It increases your chances of gaining recognition. Most employers usually scout for exceptional talent and expertise to bring in to their firms. When your resume is filled with a lot of achievements, it attracts the interest of many employers who view you as the missing piece they need to achieve their ambitions. The way you present your resume will show them the level of qualification you achieve. However, do tweak your resume in relation to tasks and achievements you have an idea to avoid messing up.

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT LIE IN YOUR RESUME

Although it has many benefits in the context of landing your dream job, you should not lie in your resume unless it’s very close to being the truth. You may mention some additional skills but when it’s time to use those skills, you won’t be able to prove your competency. So, it’s better to stick to what you can actually do instead of lying in your resume.

Regardless of how far you can advance in a lie, it is still a lie. Remember all the things in your life that you feel the most accomplished from doing. They were all done through hard work. Even though times are hard do you really think you would feel better getting a job from deceit?
