World
Acceptance Corporation announces the promotion of Jeff L. Tinney to the position
of Senior Vice President, Western Division effective July 15th,
2007,
where he will be responsible for operations in nearly 300 office locations
in
Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Mr. Tinney replaces Charles F. Gardner who
passed away recently after a year long battle with cancer.
Mr.
Tinney, age 45, began his career with World Acceptance in July of 1986 as an
Assistant Branch Manager in Greenville, Texas. Since that time he has held
positions of increasing responsibility within the organization, the most recent
being the position of Vice President of Operations in the Central Texas Region
since January of 1997.
