Sanjay Sheth Appointed Managing Partner

Beatrice Leong Named to Lead New Asia Office

CNM LLP, a leading technical advisory firm headquartered in Los Angeles, today announced leadership team changes to support its rapidly growing practices and client base. Nathan Matthews, who founded CNM in 2003 and has served as Managing Partner since that time, has been appointed Executive Chair. Nathan will develop the firm’s future partners, focus on its long-term growth and expansion strategy, while also stewarding CNM’s team culture. Sanjay Sheth, a 15-year veteran of the firm, has been named Managing Partner, succeeding Nathan. Both appointments are effective July 1, 2022.

“These leadership changes mark a significant milestone in CNM’s development and growth strategy,” said Nathan. “Sanjay brings outstanding emotional intelligence and people development skills to this role, along with deep relationships that have been strengthened over many years. He will help us build upon our position as the most trusted firm for our professionals and our clients.”

Sanjay said, “CNM is defined by long-term relationships which are built through our people-centric approach. I’m excited and honored to lead our team as we expand our footprint globally. We are in a unique position to capitalize on the growth opportunities ahead, and both Nathan and I couldn’t be more optimistic about our future.”

CNM also announced plans to open its first international office in Asia to better serve its growing client base across the region and to support the strong growth in the U.S. Beatrice Leong, a CNM Partner and 18-year veteran of the firm, will lead this new office, steering the firm’s first international expansion. The new office will serve as a shared service center to support both client delivery and internal firm processes.

Nathan stated, “Our international clientele has grown significantly over the past several years and we want a local presence to provide our clients with the personalized service and solutions they require. We are pleased to have Beatrice, a long-time member of the CNM leadership team, lead this new office in Malaysia and expand our business there.”

Since its founding in 2003, CNM has grown to more than 150 employees, tripling its growth in the past five years. It works with more than 400 clients, from start-ups and pre-IPO companies to multi-national Fortune 500 firms. The new Asia office follows the firm’s 2019 expansions to San Diego and New York City.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to spearhead our expansion efforts in Asia and support our clients there, as demand grows for the type of complex and technical services we provide,” said Beatrice.
