As Americans, our greatest resource is our people. It reflects the idea that we are each our brothers’ and our sisters’ keepers, and it is a core part of being an American.

There are no words to describe the generosity of heart and soul that comes from people who volunteer on a regular basis. Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another. Volunteers are only paid in six figures: S-M-I-L-E-S.

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention as gratitude is the memory of the heart. No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another and we all have seen and met angels wearing the disguise of ordinary people living ordinary lives. On this note, Neelam Tolani is one such unstoppable force, in perpetual motion. She volunteers tirelessly and consults with educators, trained teachers, school boards to give first-hand feedback on classrooms and the blind spots in the system.

As the saying goes, one can pay back the loan of gold, but one dies forever in debt to those who are kind. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “It is when you give of yourself that you truly give as anybody and everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve.  You only need a heart full of grace.  A soul generated by love.” Neelam is apolitical, no-nonsense, and unyielding when it comes to school rules and ethics. “The highest character and integrity, really impeccable,” a former board trustee recalled.

We thank her for sharing her love for being an inspiration to us all. She has cemented her reputation as a humble, kind, and compassionate woman who gives it all with her time and resources, holding nothing back. She volunteers full time and more at the local schools during the week and loves to spend the weekends and extended holidays when the CEO of Prince Organization, Sunil Tolani, is back in town or she along with Krish and Aryan visit him at his projects as he logs millions of air miles from Orange County, CA, to expand his bi-coastal and international efforts, working hard with unswerving work ethic, and he feels privileged to do it, which is priceless and is why he is one of the most honored civic and business leader and awards recipient of the community. Mrs. Tolani is loved and admired by employees and friends, associates of The Prince Organization. She said, “I couldn’t do any of this without Sunil’s support. He is the best cheerleader and confidence builder in the world. I’m the respectful woman that I am today because of him. Our family is very cognizant of who he is, a generous loving person, the humanitarian.”

Teachers Claudia Lyman and Diane McNall know that Mrs. Tolani believes that you cannot build the future for your children, but you surely can build your children for the future. “Mrs. Tolani is very giving and her mission and magnificence is never misstated, as she has carved out her own legacy setting an example of dedication and selfless service for many to follow. We only wish there were hundreds Neelam is volunteering in every school district and community. We’d all live in a much better world. She is a true hero and the compatriot of the community. She has a passion for educating, guiding, and mentoring young children so the littlest kids can get off to the best start to the best years ahead of them,” agrees Principal Tamara  Beeuwsaert. She has faith that we can live and lead by example reminding the world of the incredible richness of knowledge and perspective that flourish among us, in the faculty of School Districts. Always volunteering, Neelam Tolani has limitless energy and care for children.

The Boy Scouts of America president Russell  Etzenhouser thanked her in a personally signed letter for “doing your best” and making a difference with her time and financial generosity, investing in the values and future of America and making it possible to equip young people with the skills and abilities to lead successful and productive lives.

“Everyone can be a hero,” she said in a 2019 interview with the school board. “You don’t need to have money to be a hero. You can just give back your time.”

Neelam makes an impact that is enormous in scale, but perhaps the biggest impact she has is with one child at a time, those are lives that are forever changed by her.
