In trading on Thursday, rental, leasing, & royalty shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Permian Basin Royalty Trust, down about 3.7% and shares of Cross Timbers Royalty Trust down about 2.9% on the day.
